Hello my name is Sarah Portela! I am a 2nd grade teacher for the 2011-2012 school year.
I am a native to Arizona and recently my husband, Kyle, and I moved right down the block from San Tan Learning Center! We enjoy golfing, cooking, traveling, and spending time with our newest family member Charlie (our puppy)! Kyle and I are expecting our first baby this year in October. We are excited to be having a boy!
I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Arizona State University in 2009 with my bachelors in Early Childhood Education. I chose to specialize in early childhood to help my students develop a strong foundation to set them up for success in their educational journey. “A successful man is one who can lay a firm foundation with the bricks others have thrown at him.” I am dedicated to providing my kiddos with as many bricks as possible!
