It was great growing up with 9 siblings in Northwestern Minnesota. I can’t remember if it was the Mosquitos or the snow, but eventually I made my way to sunny Arizona. Here I obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Justice Studies, as well as Elementary Education. I spent many years as a social worker, in a variety of positions. Recently, I completed a Masters in Early Childhood Education with a Reading Endorsement. The area of reading development has always been of great interest to me. I am an avid reader, and enjoy books of all genres. My absolute favorite way to spend time is enjoying the outdoors; hiking, biking, camping, or traveling with my Son and Husband. As a parent here at San Tan, I am very excited to be part of the staff this year!
