My name is Lara Shaffer. I grew up in a small town just outside New York City. I moved here with my family when I was 18. I attended High Tech Institute, in Phoenix, and graduated with an Associate in Applied Science. I worked for a local home builder for eight years as the Architectural Manager until December of 2008 when I went to school to be a certified nursing assistant.
Although my family has been a part of San Tan Learning Center from its inception, I began working here in April of 2009 as the administrative assistant and health aid. I have since taken over as the school’s registrar.
I have been married to my husband, Rusty, for nine years. We have three wonderful boys, two of which attend San Tan Learning Center. When I am not spending time with my family and friends, I love to read, scrapbook, roller blade, watch scary movies, bake and play board games. I also love going to the beach, sled riding and to amusement parks!
