Hello San Tan Families,
Charlie Brown Thanksgiving is almost here. The Charlie Brown Thanksgiving committee has been hard at work planning a great event. The event is on November 23, 2011 and will begin immediately after half-day dismissal. This is going to be a fun event with lots of time to visit with friends and maybe even meet some new ones.
This is what we have planned. Each family will bring a lunch for themselves and we will all share the items that the students will bring. We will be asking students to bring 100% juice bags/boxes, bottled water, red and green grapes, sliced/cubed pineapple, apple pie, pumpkin pie, brownies, plates, napkins, forks and spoons. Please check your email as the classroom coordinators will be sending out a Sign up Genius for items your child’s class is asked to bring. If you have a large cooler we could borrow please let your coordinator know as we will need these to keep the drinks cold. There will be tables and chairs set up around the campus for you to use, or if you like you can bring your own chairs or blankets to spread out on the grass. We are very excited for this event and hope you and your family will attend.
We are asking families to bring some non-perishable food items you would like to donate to a United Food Bank. The food drive will begin on November 12th. The food bank will provide collection boxes to collect the items. Thank you!
