Mrs. Clapham was born in Brooklyn, NY and was raised in New York / New Jersey. She is married to her husband, Timothy and has two children, Timothy Jr. and Rebecca. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in interior design and a Masters degree in elementary education, in addition to a full SEI (Structured English Immersion) Endorsement and a Provisional Gifted Endorsement, and is currently working toward obtaining her full gifted endorsement. She is currently a member of the Arizona Geographic Alliance and the Arizona Association of Teachers of Mathematics.
Throughout her career, Mrs. Clapham has received several awards and recognitions; one being the teacher of the month award during her years as a kindergarten teacher.
Mrs. Clapham entered San Tan Learning Center in 2010 with over eight years of teaching experience augmented by eight years of project management experience. Her philosophy as a teacher is that children thrive when they are in a safe, nurturing, and consistent environment that allows them to explore and learn at their own pace.
