After growing up in the Midwest, Mr. Fleckenstein served four years in the Marine Corps Infantry where he served in Desert Storm. After his military service Mr. Fleckenstein graduated Cum Laude from Colorado Technical University with a degree in Business Management. He is currently pursuing his MBA in Human Resources Management.
Having always been a leader, Mr. Fleckenstein has a strong belief in standing up for those who can’t stand up for themselves. This led his career into the field of Human Resources where he could be an advocate for employees and assist organizations in creating more productive work environments, while increasing employee loyalty and job satisfaction.
He created an independent Human Resources outsourcing and consulting firm that specializes in the delivery of a full-range of HR services. His firm, Ascend Outsourcing & Consulting Group, has grown to a multi-million dollar firm with offices in Arizona, California, Oregon and Ohio. Ascend OCG has won several awards and is recognized by The Phoenix Business Journal as one of the Top 25 HR Companies in the valley.
Mr. Fleckenstein is active with several charities, most notably, Stand Up For Kids, where he and other volunteers go into the streets at night to help and rescue homeless kids 21 and under. Mr. Fleckenstein resides in Gilbert, AZ with his wife, Nicole, and two children. One of his favorite quotes from The Godfather: “A man who doesn’t spend time with his family can never be a real man.”
